About The Retreat
This is NOT just another Yoga Retreat. With every retreat your host Karol creates, she likes to bring along tools for self-discovery, personal development and self-transformation. This retreat is an invitation to everyone wanting to liberate themselves from routine, work pressure or simply want to have the chance to deepen the connection with themselves. We all feel the pressure of obligations in life and often we don't have time to put in the self work we all need. As a result, we are often feeling disconnected, exhausted and with little or no direction to go in life, even though we feel unhappy with our current situation. During this retreat we will be exploring Yoga classes, meditation, journalling exercises and breathwork in order to deepen self-awareness and connection with who we really are. Also another great way to do this is through the awakening of our inner compass, or what we commonly call our intuition. Creative processes are a great way to do that, in that way our painting and pottery workshops are much more than just a fun activity to do, but guided in a way that takes us closer to ourselves. During the ecstatic dance, we have the chance to encompass movement and intuition into one, with the rhythm of music that moves us from inside out we are invited to explore our own form of expression. All of this in a idyllic setting of our 14th century old ruins. And least but not last, a guided deep relaxation by the live sounds of percussion and didgeridoo in our night "trip to the jungle". This retreat promises to be a real journey within yourself, through the exploration of creativity, breath and movement. Creative expression is the ability to use our minds and imaginations to create something that represents ourselves. There are countless ways to express ourselves creatively, whether through music, visual art, crafting, writing, photography, drama, or movement. People of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life benefit from the creative process. Creativity helps us relate to each other, address obstacles and challenges in our lives, and even remember how to play! As adults we become so serious and focused on our obligations and duties. It can be difficult to authentically express who we are, but creative expression helps us open to new possibilities. Most importantly, creative expression can lead us to a deeper understanding of ourselves.

A truly incredible experience! Prior to the retreat I had quit my job and gone through some personal challenges: my grandpa passed away, I had a break up and some other stuff. I felt that I needed time to be free, to enjoy moving my body and connect myself. During the course of the week I rediscovered my inner joy. Met Incredible people, shared wonderful moments and amazing meals!

This retreat taught me a lot about having a routine, it helped me to awaken my senses and connect my body and mind in a way I never did before. The programme has been really well thought out and gives such a nice range of practices that fill you up again in a lovely self caring way. Thank you do much!
