You will be expertly cared for by Johlet and Kim, who will guide you every step of the way to help restore your spirit by cultivating self-compassion, self-awareness and movement. Learn practical techniques to support being present to the tenderness of your life journey. Connect with others on a similar path through unique holistic methods which include meditation, guided group & 1:1 sessions, movement & soul quenching meditation classes. Each session of this retreat is led by qualified professionals which ensures that guests are emotionally safe at all times. Frequently Asked Questions

Is it advisable to get health and travel insurance?

Yes, we recommend that you have health and travel insurance for traveling abroad to cover yourself in full.

Can I come on my own?

Yes of course. Solo traveling is very popular nowadays. You will meet lots of people on your trip. We make sure no one feels homesick and its almost like being part of a family.

I have never tried pilates before will it be ok for a beginner

Definitely! We cater for all fitness levels.

Do I need to be super fit and healthy to join?

Not at all. Everybody is different and unique and we are all on our own individual journey. All our activities are optional, you wont feel any pressure to join in anything you don't want to. It's your week we want you to get the most out of it and we want you to leave happy.

Do you cater for vegans?

Yes of course you will be required to fill out a form after booking so we can cater to your requirements for your stay.

What about alcohol, can we drink?

Of course! It's your holiday! Beverages are for your own account and will be settled at the end of the Retreat.

Do I have to do the 1:1 coaching session with Kim?

No, this is completely your choice. The 1:1 session is on offer to each group member to give them a safe space to have a debrief should anything arise in the guided meditations which they would like to discuss. The session is for 30 minutes and is completely your choice and booking times will be provided to everyone at the start of the Retreat.

Will I have free time?

Yes! We have structured the Retreat in a way that everyone has an opportunity to decompress and relax on their own. Introverts, we understand your needs!

What if I want to extend my stay at Rogge Cloof?

This is a regular request and we understand why it will be difficult to leave - it's a beautiful part of the world with so much to see and do. We suggest that if you would like to extend your stay, that you let us know in advance so that we can put you in touch with the managers of the property. Kindly note that any extension of your stay will be for your personal account. The Retreat hosts will not be liable for anything going forward after the Retreat concludes as we will not be present after the time. We would be more than happy to give you suggestions to explore in and around Cape Town.

I would unequivocally recommend Kim Abrahams. I don’t have any caveats or disclaimers – she is absolutely an incredible therapist and a very safe person to guide you in your healing. Kim has a broad range of strengths, but I think the most wonderful part of sessions with Kim is that she will truly meet you wherever you are. She pushed/challenged me when she knew I could handle it and would benefit from digging deeper, but she would also meet me at a slower pace when that was needed.
