About The Retreat
Adventure Yogi deliver this wonderful retreat which is the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure! The private villa is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful surf and sand of Playa Guiones, one of the main surf and swim beaches in Nosara. Your home for 11 days is a spacious main villa, a private pool with seating area and what is locally called a Rancho, a downstairs open air dining and relaxation space and the yoga shala is situated on the first floor looking out to the jungle. Beautifully, yoga takes place in the yoga shala every morning to the sounds of monkeys and tropical birds. After a delicious breakfast you can take a dip in the pool or take a short walk down the beach. Maybe, relax at the villa or try surfing on one of the best surf beaches in the country! You may wish to wander into town or feel exhilarated with one of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area. Maybe zip-lining through the rainforest canopy, a quad bike tour along the coast, visiting a chocolate or coffee factory and so much more. Frequently Asked Questions
What the temperature like in Costa Rica in March?
March is the end of the dry season in Costa Rica and it is a great time to be there after a long cold and dark winter in the UK and anywhere in the northern hemisphere. It is around 35 degrees celsius in the day and 30 at night.
What activities are on offer?
As the venue is right next to the beach you can enjoy the pacific ocean every day! Try surfing, we include 1 surf lesson and board hire in the price but if you get the buzz you can do it more. Extar activities that we highly recommend booking are the zipline excursion if you are an adrenalin junkie and the quad bike tour and coffee plantation tour are really fun. Be prepared to get caked in orange dust.
The teaching was really great, supportive and knowledgeable and good variations. The yoga shala was amazing, sunset on one side and sunrise on the other! Really loved the meditation.
So far I’ve been on three AY retreats and I can’t wait to go on my Fourth! Loved the surf, the beaches, the yoga shala, the rooms! All of it.
