Par Cours Vita circuit: enjoy a fun cardio & strengthening workout in the forest using fixed equipment. Hike or jog from station to station and feel motivated in our outdoor gym!

Continue on a beautiful hike through the forest to Chez Dany restaurant, where the views open up to more magnificent mountain scenes. Relax in a deckchair for an optional coffee/drink stop before hiking back to the chalet.

Short drive to the picturesque Champex Lac, for a peaceful hike along the 'Bisse' stream. Gently climb through the forest, connecting with the nature surrounding you.

Cool off with a fun paddleboarding session, either enjoying a paddle across the small lake or joining in with a balance and core workout. Optional lake swims & dips afterwards!

Lakeside picnic lunch to refuel.

Return to the chalet for Self care: Rest & Relaxation, and your complimentary massage.

Day long explorative mountain hike along one of Verbier's most scenic trails. Enjoy this challenging and scenic route, spotting wildlife along the way (if lucky!) towards the Cabane de Louvie and the hidden gem of the valley - Lac de Louvie!

Picnic lunch at the Cabane & optional cold water dips in Lac de Louvie.

Continue this incredible hike, immersed in nature as you start to climb down towards the valley floor and our end point - Fionnay

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE & HOW HOT DOES IT GET?

The weather in Verbier during the summertime is usually dry, warm and sunny. Average temperature is 27°, which means you can be hiking high up in the mountains in a t-shirt and shorts.

CAN I COME ON MY OWN? & HOW BIG IS THE GROUP?

Yes of course, it’s the perfect retreat for travelling solo, as well as with a friend or partner! The retreat caters for small groups of 5-8 women, from all nationalities and life stages. It’s a lovely coming together of like-minded women. A perfect retreat for making lifelong connections and friendships.

WHAT FITNESS LEVEL DO I NEED TO BE? / HOW HARD IS THE FITNESS TRAINING?

This is not a high tempo fitness retreat, so an average base level of fitness is fine. Already integrating some form of exercise and movement into your weekly routines is advisable. Verbier is situated at 1500m so a base level of cardio fitness is recommended and will help in the altitude. You ideally will be able to sustain a steady day long hike (roughly 5-6hrs, 16km and 800m of elevation) with breaks. There are no specific running sessions, other than short sprints in some fitness circuits. Other sessions i.e. yoga & fitness circuits using weights, will be tailored as much as possible for individuals, especially if any injuries.

WHAT IS THE FOOD LIKE?

A sensational menu is created by your private chef for the week: 3 healthy & nutritious meals each day, using fresh local produce. The week's menu offers a combination of vegetarian & plant based dishes, balanced with some meat & fish additions too. The focus is on nourishing your bodies with natural, quality ingredients; no processed foods, sugars or additives. Dietaries and allergies are accommodated and portion size can be tailored if so desired. Eat together in a relaxed social environment both in the chalet and up the mountain for incredibly scenic picnics. Healthy snacks are provided on certain days too. Plus unlimited teas, coffee & infused water.

WHAT TO PACK?

- Trainers (ideally trail specific trainers) or hiking boots (if you prefer more ankle support) WORN IN. - Enough workout wear for the week (washing facilities normally provided in chalet) - Shorts, leggings and exercise tops - Warm leggings or lightweight trousers (for hikes and cosy yoga sessions) - Long sleeved warm fleece or shell top - Good lightweight waterproof jacket - Warm jacket/down puffa - Comfy lounge wear for relaxing in the evenings - High protection sunscreen for face and body, sun hat, sunglasses - Small 15-20 litre rucksack (some Camelbak's will have extra room and are sufficient) - Bikini/swimsuit, light swim towel (thin quick dry if you’ll want to dip in any of the lakes), flip flops (opt.), waterproof phone case (opt. if wanting to take on paddleboards) - Water bottle - Walking poles (optional & available to rent) - Adaptors for Swiss plugs (3, or 2 pin) - Swiss Francs (CHF) cash for drinks up mountain - Any medication you may need

The first time I have done anything like this & it absolutely exceeded my expectations! I was not looking for a bootcamp experience, I wanted to get out into the mountains, do some hiking, workouts, take in beautiful views, stretch & relax & Lottie was able to provide this & more! The hikes were hard work but very rewarding. She is very experienced & knowledgeable at what she does. My job is busy & stressful & I can honestly say I didn’t think about work once during the week as I was having fun!
