1Day 1

6:15AM - 7:15AM

Sample Day: As the sun begins to rise, we head to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Ithumba Stockades, where we witness the orphaned elephants begin their day. The car will be packed with tea, coffee and light snacks for those who like to refuel at the break of dawn.

7:30AM - 8:30PM

After a short five-minute game and drive back to camp, we will meet for a 60 min energising vinyasa flow led by Laura or one of our guest teachers.

9:00AM - 10:45AM

Breakfast will be prepared and served by the incredible team at Ithumba Hill. With the option for a cooked breakfast or something light such as fresh fruit & cereals. The rest of the morning is for you to enjoy camp, maybe take a dip in the pool, read a book or have a massage.

10:45AM - 12:00PM

At 11 O’clock, we join the swt team to watch the elephants enjoy their midday feed & mud bath.

1:00PM - 3:00PM

A delicious lunch in camp prepared and served by the Ithumba team self-serve style with plenty of choices for everyone.

3:00PM - 4:00PM

At 3 o’clock, we meet for our second yoga class of the day which will be yin yoga, restorative yoga or guided meditation.

5:00PM - 6:30PM

At 5 O'clock, we head back to the stockades to see the elephants who head home for the evening. Shortly after, we drive to a unique spot in Tsavo East National park to watch the sunset.

8:00PM - 9:30PM

After returning back to camp from our sundowner, we wash off the dust and freshen up for a candle-lit dinner. Our dinners start with a homemade soup followed by a self-served main and herbal tea, or other beverage of choice to finish the meal.

May 2022

Laura’s Wildlife and Yoga retreat was literally life-changing! Laura has a kind, empowered, and inclusive approach to yoga that melds itself to everyone and welcomes different people to show up in their bodies and in their lives as they truly are; It’s a gift. She has a caring super power and goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel seen, supported, and valued, using the tools of yoga to intuit the needs of her group. I cannot recommend Laura Bunting Yoga enough.
