Time to enjoy a yoga holiday with a blend of hiking - in Madeira during April/May and escape to warmer weather and beautiful landscapes ☀️ Far off the coast of North Africa lies an island full of raw, natural beauty and adventures. Welcome, to Madeira! Madeira may be small in size but it makes up for it by everything else being on a grand scale. To begin, it boasts Europe’s highest sea cliffs, and over 1300 hiking trails and even shows off the world’s largest firework display annually. This volcanic island really is a sight to behold. For our yoga holiday in Madeira, we will be staying in one of the oldest Quintas on the island. Perched high above the bay of Funchal with sweeping views across the city and out to sea it feels like home from the moment you arrive. A vast estate, the property is a working farm with a vineyard and a long, fascinating history! The beautiful gardens offer the perfect sanctuary to escape to with a book as well as a large pool, tennis courts and ponds. This is not a remote location, we are only a 15-minute walk into the city even though feel fully secluded by the estate. Honestly, there are so many adventures to be had in Madeira, that we struggled to create an itinerary that squeezes it all in! However, we have created a yoga adventure that blends the best this incredible island has to offer. Hikes through the stunning trails of the levadas, cultural highlights, ocean swims and time to explore the dramatic coastline. Your host and yoga teacher Rosie, is known for her warm and engaging teaching style and personalised approach. She believes that yoga is not a ‘one size fits all’ and encourages individuals to work with their own bodies not against them 🧘‍♀️

Guided hike through the Levada trails - don't forget to bring your swim suit for a cool off in the waterfalls!

Back home to relax, unwind and enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool

Restorative yoga class in the beautiful garden studio

7:00PM - 7:30PM

Wonderful restorative yoga holiday - amazing location in funchal with beautiful yoga room and pool - Mhairi is the best plant veggie chef - just about had time to fit in our early morning yoga before exciting hikes and adventures and lovely yoga nidra at the end of the busy day in beautiful Madeira - thank you to everyone guests included
