Join prenatal yoga teacher Cassie and artist Camilla, and special guest nutritionist Lauren, for a mini day retreat set at 50 Hill Rise in Richmond.
These mamas, who are both pregnant themselves, have partnered to bring you a transformative mix of yoga and art, vegan nourishing food and the chance to restore and relax in nature. They will also share their own positive stories of how yoga, breath and wellness has helped them in preparation for birth and being a first time mum.
What you can expect:
Cassie will be teaching a pregnancy flow class with gentle movement, breath work, pelvic floor exercises and restorative set-ups to feel calm and deeply relaxed. We go through breathing practices that you can use during labour and we focus on easing common pregnancy niggles. Ending with meditation or a hypnobirthing style of yoga nidra to increase your oxytocin and prepare you for a positive birth experience.
Camilla will be assisting you to let go of any fears and manifest your dream birth using a relaxed artistic exploration. With a little bit of manifestation magic and visualisation you can create the birth you dream of and deserve. Tune in, transform your fears into strength and welcome the beauty and wonder of birth. A blank canvas and materials will be provided. No artistic experience necessary.
Lauren will lead a talk focusing on essential nutrients during pregnancy and post-birth for both you and baby, and provide a delicious vegan spread along this theme. Enjoy this time to meet and mingle with other mamas-to-be and chat more with Cassie, Camilla and our nutritionist Lauren.
