About The Retreat

Excitingly, this January, we will be bringing you a week of cosiness and creativity. We would like to invite you to disconnect from the day to day, surrounded by beautiful rolling fells in the Yorkshire Dales. We will be sharing with you some experiences that have really helped us to pause and prioritise our well-being. Together we will explore "active relaxation" – clearing your mind through the challenge of learning new skills and getting yourself out and about in nature. We also appreciate and love the luxury of just doing nothing, quietly sitting outside, reading a book or simply napping! We will be a combination of the two as well as an opportunity for you to huddle with a small community of like-minded people. What to expect: ✨ Crisp wintry walks (cosiest scarves essential), daily morning flow, evening yin and yoga nidra. Incredible food, breathwork and meditation. A mindful jesmonite casting workshop. ✨ Optional cold water dip, fireside book club and magical manifestation vision board workshop hosted by Victoria Jackson, founder of The Manifestation Collective. Victoria is a certified coach, EFT practitioner, and no.1 charting podcast host and author of the books, Manifesting For Beginners and How To Manifest Anything. ✨ As always you’ll be in the company of the loveliest of humans huddled up in a gorgeous location.

Waterfall Wild Swim - Mandy will be taking the bravest among us for an optional cold water dip. Mandy is a huge advocate of wild swimming and maintains that it's essential for her mental wellbeing. Mandy will share her tips and techniques for entering the water as well as the benefits of cold water swimming for releasing happy hormones, building mental resilience and existing in the present.

Vision Board Workshop -We are super excited to be partnering with Victoria Jackson, founder of The Manifestation Collective. Victoria is a certified coach, EFT practitioner, and no.1 charting podcast host and author of the books, Manifesting For Beginners and How To Manifest Anything. Victoria will be hosting a vision boarding workshop to help us manifest our goals and intentions for 2024.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will I need to bring?

Warm, waterproof clothes and boots for walking; we will be outside enjoying mother nature. Comfortable clothes for the yoga and a yoga mat if you have one (we will have some spare at the venue). Warm woollies to wrap up and stay cosy in. Swimming costume and towel in case you are up for braving a cold water dip. A water bottle for the walk. Any tuppaware you might have to load up with leftovers for your journey home at the end of the week. And finally, we'd love to introduce a book swap. If you have read anything related to mental health and/or well-being that has been of value we'd love for you to bring it along, if you'd be willing to swap. We take care of all toiletries and room towels for you :)

Hi I'm Carlie and I absolutely loved every moment while on this retreat with Sophie. It was an amazing weekend filled with laughter, adventure, delicious food, relaxation and connection. From the moment I pulled up onto the drive, and saw a smiling Sophie, I knew it would be an amazing weekend. From the house we were staying in, the women running the weekend, the food cooked and the attendees like myself it was a perfect weekend.
