Frequently Asked Questions

Is it all group activities or can I take some quiet me time?

We will practice yoga, do the PD sessions and eat our meals together. People also often group together to take a walk or just have a chat. But everyone is also positively encouraged to take time to themselves to read, go for a walk, relax on the property, go on a solo adventure or simply nap in their room.

Do I have to attend all the sessions?

No, this is your trip and we want you to listen to what you need. We think that typically the more sessions you attend the more value you will get out of your time on the retreat. However we understand that you might need to rest or want extra time for self reflection.

What will the yoga be like?

We'll practice hatha, vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga, with classes both morning and evening. Start your day with an energising but mindful vinyasa flow . Set yourself up for the day ahead by moving in time with your breath – unhurried movement to help calm your mind. There will be ample opportunity for personal attention, and to advance your practice by learning how to adapt the postures to best suit the needs of your own body. Each evening we'll wind down with a slow, calming and grounding practice, rounded off with a guided relaxation. You'll float out of our evening sessions feeling relaxed, renewed and restored. In addition, we will also practice some simple meditation and breathing techniques that are perfect for keeping the relaxed vibe going even after you get back home to real life.

What will the personal development workshops be like?

Taking the best from psychology and coaching we aim to help push you outside of your comfort zone, in a comfortable and safe environment. We will work through exercises that are designed to meet you where you are in your journey, whether thats a keen goal setter or someone who is taking a look at what they want out of life for the first time. The aim is to give you the time, space and a framework for thinking about what you want to pursue in life, goals that you have, habits you want to change and more. There is no specific outcome to the session but we’d like you to come away feeling inspired and refreshed, ready to go back to your home with a new lease of life.
