This yoga retreat brings to life the essence of spring, that time of year where energy starts bubbling forward and upward much like water finding its way out of the ground to become a flowing river.
Spring is a natural time of rebirth, renewal and hope both physically and spiritually. After the slow and restful pace of winter we are invited to begin to turn outwards once again, to spend more time outdoors, and to engage in yoga practices and rituals that will help us bud and grow new ideas and aspirations. Together we will move, share, contemplate, embrace and celebrate the beauty of spring!
Practices and activities have been thoughtfully put together to enhance your wellbeing. Expect twice daily yoga practices, hiking in the beautiful hills of Santa Agnes, a foraging and wild flower mandala making meditation workshop, a sound healing session in an epic location in nature, a cooking workshop and a visit to a local organic farm where we will learn, help and give back.
About Can Shanti: Our home for 6 nights will be Can Shanti, a luxurious and romantic finca estate nestled in Ibiza’s northern hills near Santa Agnes. Surrounded by rich pine forests, Can Shanti’s unique design provides an intimate and magical setting four our retreat and invites us to embrace a more in-tune and relaxed pace of living. Accommodation is spread across five beautiful and spacious bedrooms and includes daily house-keeping services. The main finca boasts three large suites (all en-suite) and two further guest studios on the estate. Healthy gourmet plant-based meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients will be served daily.
About the teacher: Sara unrolled her mat for the first time at the age of 17 and since then her practice has never left her. She likes to weave different styles and approaches to working with the body, mind and spirit into her classes. She has grown to love teaching the more introspective practices, such as Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, for their powerful methods when it comes to easing chronic pain and tension in the body, balancing emotions and building mental resilience.
