About The Retreat

The retreat centre is located in Sweden close to Stockholm surrounded by lakes and forests. Immerse yourself in nature while enjoying innovative agriculture and vegetable gardens, beekeeping, and flower meadows. A hundred-year-old barn, called the Eco Barn, is at the centre of the farm and has been renovated using sustainable and natural materials with a conscious design idea. There is a yoga space that overlooks the beautiful Lake Hallbosjön, an onsite sauna, and a conservatory glass dining room to fully immerse yourself in the surrounding scenery. The yoga shala is surrounded by nature to dive deep into the practice and find serenity, providing a bright and airy atmosphere, with wooden flooring and a magnificent floor-to-ceiling window that offers a breathtaking view of nature's beauty. We are all about balance on retreat, starting the day with an energising morning flow and winding down with restorative evening practices that will revitalise your body, mind, and spirit from the inside out. Just like yoga, a good meal nourishes all the senses and brings people together. Our talented Chef Cecilia will be creating plant-based dishes that will revitalize your body and soul. Together, we have carefully curated a menu that will leave you feeling wholesome and rejuvenated. Our meals are designed to nourish your mind and body, with a focus on plant-based options. We will begin our day with a delicious breakfast after yoga, followed by a light lunch, and end with a conscious feast in the evening. Our menu features locally-sourced ingredients and delicacies that are sure to delight your taste buds. Your accommodation will be at Lindeborgs Eco Retreat, which features nine bedrooms. The rooms include eco suites, deluxe rooms, and cottage rooms, all of which offer a natural modern ambience with Scandi-style decor and large glass windows that provide an excellent view of the surrounding nature. All mattresses, duvets, and pillows are organic, offering ultimate luxury and comfort. The eco suites feature a kitchen, dining area, and an outdoor seating area with stunning views of the lake, fields, and vegetable gardens. Each of our deluxe rooms is equipped with a comfortable double bed and beautiful views of the farm, while the cottage has two bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a dining table, and a bathroom with a shower. You will feel completely at home at Lindeborg’s and have the space to come home to yourself.

What food can I expect on retreat?

Only the best! We love food and it is such an important part of the retreat experience. We work with our venues to curate a beautiful menu of fresh and local cuisines. Typically meals are communal and a time to connect and share. If you have any dietary or medical considerations, please let us know in your booking form.

Are flight and airport transfers included?

Flights and transfers are not included in the retreat price.

How do I get to the retreat venue?

Book your flight to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN). We suggest taking the fast train from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Stockholm. From Stockholm take a train to the city of Nyköping (1 hour). Arriving at Nyköping we can help organise a taxi for you to the venue (about 20 minutes). We love to help you with transport to make your journey as smooth as possible. Reach out if you have any questions.

What should I bring?

We will provide you with a more deatiled packing list for the retreat. As this is a winter retreat we recommend 'your winter wardrobe'! A warm jacket and thermals (for winter walks), clothes your comfortable to practice yoga in, cosy jumpers, slippers, swimmers for your sauna to cold dip swims and a scarf, beanie & gloves!

Who is this retreat for?

Our retreats are available to anyone who is wanting to take a week off from their busy life and experience a week of yoga, nourishing food and connect with like minded people in the most dreamy places. Whether you’re a regular practitioner or new to yoga, you’re all welcome and will be fully supported. We will be moving our bodies a lot on retreat so please let us know in your booking form if you have any injuries, health conditions or recent surgeries so we can cater for you.

Do I need to have a regular yoga practice to attend?

All of our retreats are availale to the beginner yogi to the advanced and the non-yogi partner or friend that is brand new to yoga. We are all about inclusivity and inspiring people to live their lives to the fullest in a healthy way.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! A yoga retreat is a great place to make new friends and meet like minded people. You are welcome to book a single room or we can pair you up with other solo travellers for a shared room (double room) if available. If for some reason there is no one to pair you with for a shared room, you would need to pay for a single room.

How many people will be on the retreat?

This retreat is capped at 12 students so everyone feels supported and connected. We love to create an intimate environment to create community while still giving you the freedom to be able to do your own thing when you like.

This retreat offers the most phenomenal yoga retreats. I went to the Tuscan retreat and the venue was fabulous, food incredible, yoga fantastic and company absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend! It was wonderful from start to end. The location in Spain was unreal. Janet and Amy have such a gift for making you feel welcome and comfortable.
