Wild Thing In The Woods

Wild Thing Retreats

For those who are swayed by the ocean, the earth, the stars; those who are wild at heart. Rewild, Flow, Feast, Forage, Stargaze. Wild Thing Retreats are delighted to be back at Campwell for the third year in row. We stay in a magical woodland eco-village with a selection of Yurts, Shepherd Huts and log cabins. Each shelter has ready made beds, towels, wood burning stove & outdoor space to gaze at the stars. Feasting is a big part of our retreats. Renowned Seafood Chef Mitch Tonks of The Seahorse Restaurant, hosts our welcome feast on Friday. El from Kemp Kitchen is back providing us with nourishing vegetarian meals for the rest of the weekend using local, seasonal produce. Keeping it wonderfully wild, all meals will be prepared on an open fire Flow to the blissful sounds of nature. With two outdoor studios in the woods & a cosy yoga cob. 1 Welcome Circle. 2 Slow Flows. 2 Energising Morning Flows. 1 Yin wind down . 1 Closing circle. We'll flow, breathe and maybe even fly... Wild swimming in Campwell’s very own private secret lake. Hike. Laze in the hammock. Read by the fire. This adventure is yours.

I attended the Wild Thing retreat in September. It was my first retreat and won’t be my last! The woodland location was perfect, the food throughout the weekend was delicious and I loved the variety of yoga practises (advanced enough for some in the group but still accessible for others with less experience).

The retreat was a dream. So relaxing from start to finish. Sadie expertly created a space where it felt ok to do whatever you wanted, join in, enjoy some solitude, eat as much as you wanted, have a drink (or not), go to bed early/stay up late, and the bit I expected the least but enjoyed the most was the connections we made as a group.
