About The Retreat
Workout Away on the Algarve is the perfect short fitness retreat for all levels. You will stay with us for three nights and enjoy an action-packed time! We know that you love to get active, and this trip is sure not to disappoint. Your training will be varied, giving you the chance to get involved in a bit of everything. This retreat has it all, from yoga to HIIT training and boot camps. While there will be plenty of sweat, there's still time for some chill-out, relaxation and, of course, plenty of fun! Your fantastic Workout Away Group Fitness Leader will be on hand at any time, and you'll be sure to meet some new friends to sweat and share the experience with. Lagos in Portugal is home to this retreat. The Algarve coastline certainly has an excellent pick of beaches to enjoy; from secluded coves to long sandy stretches, you're sure to find your perfect spot. Although Lagos attracts tourists from all corners of the globe, somehow, it's managed to maintain its quiet, exclusive and relaxed vibe. Situated just 50 minutes from Faro airport, it's easily accessible and the perfect hangout for your fitness break.

Do people come alone?
Over half of our guests are solo travellers. Joining a fitness retreat is a safe bet for solo travellers because you're guaranteed to meet people with similar interests.
Are flights included?
No, you will need to make your own travel arrangements. We recommend skyscanner.com to find the best deals.
Are meals included?
You will receive breakfast each day, and then a selection of lunches and dinners are included. We want you to feel free to do your own thing, and sometimes it's nice to take a bit of "me time." The timetable for your trip will outline which meals are included.

The retreat in Lagos was oustanding. I shared a room with another lovely participant - what was a fantastic experience. The hotel on top of the cliffs is a dream with a stunning view, pools, tasty buffets and near the beach (within walking distance). The trainers are excellent hosts. They pushed and motivated me and made sure that the exercises were done correctly. I couldn't have imagined a better setting - everything was just perfect.

I genuinely can't recommend workout away enough. I'm a beginner when it comes to fitness and I was made to feel so comfortable. The work outs are great- they're adaptable to the super fit and the beginners and are so inclusive. The trainers, Emily and Kerry, were absolutely fantastic. They really look after their guests and nothing is too much trouble.

I can not recommend Workout Away enough. This trip was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I booked very last minute and didn't really know what to expect. The workouts were epic, the hotel - amazing, and Emily & Kerry (our trainers) were brilliant. I like attentive service, but this was next level! I haven't tried a fitness retreat before, but I fancied trying something a little different. I'm 100% booking again for next year! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
