About The Retreat
A 4 day retreat featuring yoga, meditation, sound healing and plant based cookery workshops to nurture your body and soul. Take time out for yourself (with a friend perhaps?) and accept our invitation to move slowly, rest quietly, and be held by the gentle countryside surroundings, waterfalls, and secret paths of Plas Cadnant. You will be nourished with wholesome food and good company, and nurtured with gentle yoga and meditation. Kate will assist your journey to go deeper into different practices like Hatha and Restorative Yoga. Meditation, Mantras, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, journaling and so much more in a gorgeous and peaceful natural setting. Catherine will be providing delicious vegan food for every meal, including some you have prepared yourself during your Cookery Workshops with her. If you haven't experienced a fully plant-based menu before, this is an ideal opportunity to learn about the variety of foods (both sweet and savoury!) that you can enjoy. You will receive recipes to take home so that you can continue your plant-based learning when you get home from your retreat. This retreat is ideal for anyone who enjoys yoga at any level and wants to learn about plant-based cooking, healthy eating, and mindful living

What’s Included
Morning and afternoon yoga classes are tailored to beginners and more experienced yogis, led by Kate Hamilton-Hunter. Whether you want to stretch, strengthen, or relax, we have a class for you.
Evening yoga nidra and sound journey with Crystal Singing Bowls, a soothing and healing practice that will help you unwind and sleep better. Experience the blissful vibrations of the bowls as they harmonize your energy and calm your mind.
Delicious breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner prepared by Catherine, our talented and passionate chef. All meals are plant-based, nutritious, and satisfying, using fresh ingredients.
Plant-based cooking workshops with Catherine, where you will learn how to make some of her signature dishes and desserts. You will also get to sample your creations and take home the recipes.
Chakra and mudra workshops with Kate. You will learn about the seven energy centres of the body and how to balance them with mantras and hand gestures (mudras). You will also discover how to use mudras to enhance your meditation and manifestation.
Intention setting and journaling prompts to help you reflect on your goals, dreams, and desires. You will have the opportunity to write down your thoughts and the invitation to share in the group to open up discussion and support.
Time to yourself to nap, read, and walk in the stunning gardens or the fields and woodland at Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, a hidden gem of Anglesey. You will be amazed by the tranquility and peace of the place.
Cozy bedrooms with twin or double rooms available. Remaining rooms have shared bathrooms. All rooms are comfortable and clean, with lovely views of the gardens and countryside. Non-feather bedding in all rooms.
Teas, coffee and fruit infused water available at all times during your retreat to keep you hydrated and refreshed

No experience necessary! Kate and Catherine are both experienced teachers who will adapt their sessions to ensure that everyone is happy working at their own level.

We welcome guests of all ages - past retreats have included guests in their 20s right up to their 70s. We love the shared experience of our broad range of guests.
