About The Retreat
Come join us on the 29th June for a day of yoga and pottery in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. The Venue: The Oak House is a beautiful old church hall, which dates back to 1869. Set in the grounds of Hatfield House (a house steeped in over 400 years of history, with gardens that offer 40 acres of tranquillity) it is a destination where you can re-energise and nurture your physical and mental wellbeing. Food & Drink: We'll head to The Coach House Kitchen to a delicious lunch! Pre-order required but you will be contacted ahead of time to confirm your choice. We are also able to cater to dietary requirements. Please just let me know when you book. Your hosts: Sofia is a certified yoga, nidra & iRest teacher. She is deeply passionate about deconstructing toxic productivity mindset, exploring our need to be ‘doing’ something always and normalising rest and self/ community care as every day needs. Pottery: Susie Oates from Pots of Hope to tap into some of the fabulous possibilities of clay. From hand-building to throwing Susie will help you to develop your connection with and explore the enormous potential of clay as a phenomenal creative resource for all abilities. Discover the power of age-old making processes to achieve your own bespoke, new, and timeless, take-home pieces.

12:30pm arrival- Enjoy a welcome juice 12:45pm- 2:00pm- Our first morning practice- vinyasa, pranayama and meditation Time for lunch at The Coach House 3:00pm-6:00pm- An introduction to pottery workshop 6:00pm- 7:00pm- Time to explore the grounds 7:00pm-8:00pm- Our final practice together- slow flow and yoga nidra Goodbyes

Frequently Asked Questions
I haven't done much yoga or pottery before, can I still come?
Yes. Definitely. There will be plenty of options throughout the practices and Sofia will guide you through the poses that work for you. As for the pottery the workshop is geared towards beginners with or people with some experience. There will be a chance to hand build and have a go on the wheel- all with guidance from Susie.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
No, the venue has everything we need. Just bring yourself.

The venue was beyond expectations, the classes have been perfect and I came back feeling renewed and even better in practicing yoga which I love. Looking forward to join another retreat with Sofia as I know it will recharge me and I will meet incredible people and have a fun time
