This week, The Retreater went on The Royal Couples Retreat in Le Marche, Italy. A week of total immersion in the Italian countryside.
The Royal Path asks their guests, do you have a good relationship but want to have a magnificent one? This retreat can truly help you find a deeper connection not only with your partner but also with yourself, your friends and in your career.
Landing at Ancona airport in Italy, we were collected by The Royal Path team and whisked away to the luxury Oliveto Estate to our villa. The venue itself was breath-taking and certainly a retreat with a hint of luxury. The villa's modern interior ran through every room and even into the spa (complete with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room) and a fully stocked gym.
The retreat started with a welcoming session to help the group start to open up for the week ahead. Through different exercises and teachings around conscious, authentic, and non-violent communication, all of the couples started to let go and dive deeper into finding their sacred space.
Every morning started with a refreshing and revitalising yoga session in the studio outside of the house, followed by a delicious breakfast prepared by Ismaele - experienced Head Chef with experience across various Italian 5* Hotels.
The group sessions during the day were focused on various different topics however the underlying message came back to the same principles; the importance of turning towards your partner in moments of conflict, not away and being truly present in the moment.
This can be hard when we lead busy hectic lives. How do we get out of our heads and connect back with our body? How do we stop anticipating the next step? This immersive retreat will give you personalised coaching and practical tools to start this journey.
This retreat should be mandatory for every couple!
